My name is Xingde Li, from China. I worked at the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) Paris Centre for 4 years, and performed many WANO missions in those years. It was always a great pleasure to work with Tiina, who played different roles in different missions. When she was assigned to WANO language support, she would help all the peers, both from WANO Paris Centre and from nuclear power plants around the world. In order to make the finished product more concise and clear, she helped them to polish their reports in the WANO house style, and did so with great patience. She sometimes worked as an interpreter for the peers and plant counterparts, and with her rich experience in this area, she enabled the conversations and interviews to be conducted more fluently. I know my WANO colleagues who worked with Tiina felt the same. In general, Tiina is extremely skilful in proofreading and report revision, and she is always seeking precision and accuracy. I would like to endorse her for her excellent professional language skills.

My name is Peter Hemelsoet, and I have over 30 years of experience in the nuclear industry,  including management positions in a nuclear power plant in the Netherlands, my home country. I have been working for the World Association of Nuclear Operators since 2009, as a nuclear inspector and as a station management advisor.

Tiina has been my consecutive interpreter on many missions dealing with topics that include technical and organisational aspects, safety culture and human performance. I request her specifically as my interpreter because of her work experience. I am always impressed by the extent of her vocabulary and the accuracy of her interpreting. The nuclear industry requires a high level of detailed technical knowledge, integrity and accuracy which Tiina fulfils.

Peter Hemelsoet, Subject Matter Expert in Human Performance, WANO Paris Centre, France

In recent years, I have worked with Tiina on several reviews of nuclear power plants and, on these missions, she made a very important contribution to the achievement of my mission objectives.

She provided French-English-French interpreting, showing an excellent standard of professional knowledge, during my discussions with station personnel. In addition, she was very helpful to me with her skills in proofreading and revising reports.

Tiina is a polite and highly professional person. I greatly enjoyed working with her.

Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Rainer Reelfs, Decommissioning Manager, PreussenElektra Headquarters, Hanover, Germany

Over a period of three years, I worked with Tiina on international safety reviews of nuclear power plants where she was responsible for providing language support to the review team in order to improve the quality of our reports.

Tiina was a very efficient colleague, who always took great care to understand the real meaning of our texts. Correction and text improvement were always performed in a timely manner so that we, in turn, could meet our deadlines.

In addition, her relationship with the team members was always very professional. She was always smiling and available to help team members.

I warmly recommend Tiina in her field of expertise.
